“I would recommend anyone who would like to implement the foundations of good horsemanship to attend these courses.” Tracey Lovett

We offer our ground work and ridden work training programs in two learning options:
Clinics
These are 2hr small group sessions that are ideal for those with time restraints who want to learn in ‘bite-sized’ sessions!
Courses
These small group sessions are run over a day and include a lecture and theory, practical training and demonstrations. Please note that lunch is provided.
Log Books are given to every participant, in which you can monitor your progress. If you do not have your own horse, you can still progress using ours!
You will start by learning the foundations of Jason’s methods and training philosophy in order to handle and/or ride your horse with safety, control and confidence. As you work through The Easy Horse program, you will be introduced to more advanced horsemanship including how to solve common problems, perform more advanced movements and cope with environmental pressures with a view to going on to compete in your chosen discipline with success.
You can participate in both Ground Work and Ridden Work clinics and courses alongside our Special Focus Courses;
Desensitising This course is excellent for nervous horses or clipping, grooming, handling issues. Special Focus Course – Desensitising.doc
Liberty Training – Training horses with no restraints. Special Focus Course – Liberty Training.doc

We occasionally accept students who want to develop their ability to train horses at a professional level, particularly in the areas of starting young horses and remedial training. Jason will provide references for those who attain a high level of proficiency in these areas and cover the Key Areas of all levels of The Easy Horse programme. Please contact us for more information.

One Day Courses run as follows:
9am Lecture Workshop (with Tea and Coffee)
10.30 – 12.30pm Morning Practical Session
12.30 – 1.30pm Lunch (NB. Lunch is provided)
1.30 – 3.30pm Afternoon Practical Session followed by summary discussion
Clinics are run over 2 hours. Please arrive 20-30 minutes in advance of your clinic time.
“The course was everything I had hoped for – a friendly and constructive learning environment. I’ve come away with lots to reflect on and put into practice at home.”
