From your first enquiry to when you take your horse home, we will do our utmost to put you at ease and provide a top class, personalised service. Not all horses and owners are the same and we treat every client as individuals in terms of their training programme and their care.
After your initial enquiry, you will be sent an Information Pack, detailing prices and the training package that best suits your needs. It also gives you the chance to provide us with all the information that we need to make your horse’s training a success. It is at this point that we ask for a deposit to secure your horse’s place in the training yard. Training fee’s range from £195 to £300 (Inc. VAT) per week. Special packages are available for studs and other trade professionals. Additionally we can offer rehabilitation livery with prices quoted dependant on each injury and rehab requirements.
Your horse’s care is our priority, from the moment of arrival they will be in skilled hands. All our staff are qualified and have completed ground handling training with Jason to ensure the horses in our care are handled consistantly. Each horse is allocated a groom and they will also benefit from daily “Horse Care Time” when they receive a full groom and lots of TLC!
As each horse different requirements we are able to provide a range of stabling and turnout options and we work closely with our network of Associate Equestrian Professionals, Saracen Horse Feeds and Intelligent Worming to provide a complete care package. Please see our testimonial pages to see how other clients found their experience with us.
We work closely with the following professionals who kindly offer discounts on their services for our clients whilst their horses are with us.

The yard’s feed of choice is Saracen. For information on Saracen Horse Feed, please view here.
Saracen is an independent, family owned business with more than 150 years of experience in manufacturing animal feeds. They are dedicated to producing nutritionally sound, innovative rations and providing their customers with an accessible and personal service. Saracen has an “open declaration” policy, which means that every ingredient that they use is declared on their feed labels, and they work to fixed formulations to protect the integrity and quality of their diets.
At Australian Horsemanship We have found that Saracen Horse Feed offers a range of feeds that suit our clients’ diversity of horses and offer simple, practical solutions. The horses certainly look and feel very well on the feed range and we are impressed with its ability to put on, and keep, weight on young, raw, horses that we have in for starting. We are working closely with our local rep to ensure we are offering the best in feeding solutions for our clients and of course our own horses!
Of course, should you wish to provide your own feed for your horse, we are able to store it in a very clean, secure and rat-proof feed room!

Worming is an extremely important part of ensuring your horse is healthy and able to work to the best of his ability. However, have you ever tested whether your worming programme is actually doing what you want it to do? We are delighted to have Intelligent Worming as one of our Partners in our Balanced Horse Programme.
Intelligent Worming is a service that designs each parasite control program uniquely for each individual horse. Every horse has a different natural immune system and therefore each one will cope with the same parasite infection in a different way. Intelligent Worming assesses this and ensures each equine has the correct prescription and quantity of chemical wormers required. It uses diagnostic techniques such as risk assessment procedures, faecal egg counts and expert knowledge to ensure that the reduction of chemical wormers occurs in a safe way.
We work closely with owners and riders and encourage you to come and view your horse’s progress weekly with a pre-booked private session with your trainer. However, we realise that some owners are unable to be so involved and we will endeavour to keep you updated with your horse’s progress, via emails and phone calls. Our Facebook page is regularly updated with photos of the yard, so keep an eye out for your horse! Please note that we cannot always pick up the phone or respond immediately to emails, but we will do our best.
