“Kudos to Jason Webb at Australian Horsemanship – he is working wonders with my colt who has a strange travelling habit. A welcoming, horse-focussed yard with great staff and 5* care”Tally Wade, Editor Western Horse UK Magazine,
Just thought would send a little update & pictures of Evita! We are having dressage lessons every three weeks and last weekend we done our first sponsored ride, We also done an in-hand show two weeks ago, I can say she has been an complete angel! We even popped over a few jumps on the ride, infront and behind and she never put a foot wrong. We are starting jumping lessons in Oct / Nov. Cant thank you and your staff enough.
Thanks a millionVicki & Evita
Duke is my homebred 3 year old who always behaved perfectly since he was a foal and was always brilliant to do anything with until he hit the terrible twos! I think the teenager in him came out and he started testing his strength as I led him too and from the field and also decided that going in the trailer was just something he didnt want to do anymore. Unfortunately I had a few incidents where he got away from me and suffered a broken finger (my fault as the lead rope was wrapped around my hand!), so I decided to take the plunge and attended the ground work clinic on 1st March this year. Suffice to say Duke didn’t put a foot wrong all morning, until we stopped for a break and while I sat with him for a rest he decided to leg it from one end of the school to the other with me skiing behing him! Embarrasing!! With Jason’s help and a few techniques to try he soon came round to realising he really is much better off with the person leading him and even showed his true colours when trying to get him in the trailer on the way home – which even after a whole day of training and Jason still having to pack up and head home himself – Jason still came over to help and spent more time with Duke eventually going in and out of the trailer until he was completley happy with the process going in to the early evening which I have to say a HUGE thank you for! Last month Duke won the inhand cob class and got a big kiss from his mum for doing so well! Clare Webb
“My young German Warmblood, Don Amour, has now competed four times at Affiliated Dressage, winning the open section three times and coming second once. Not one score yet below 70% – thank you so much Jason for giving my horse such a brilliant start!!”Alison Nye-Warden
It is now a year since Jason worked his magic on Sooty and I can honestly say that Sooty in now 99% not nervous anymore. He is now a ‘normal’ horse, yippee! Friends can handle him and he doesn’t back away when I walk towards him with a brush anymore, I have given him a trace clip with my big clippers and even clipped half his face, I never thought I would ever get near him with clippers. This is all down to Jason teaching Sooty how to react to situations and the best way to cope with his own decisions. As a nervous rider this combination could have been a recipe for disaster but I have stuck to Jasons instructions to the letter and it has really paid off. We now confidently hack in Bedgebury forest with friends and Sooty has just started jumping with a friend of mine. I hope to have him out to his first dressage shows with me ridig him in the new year. 2013 will be an exciting year for Sooty. Thanks Jason, and all your staff as I know they all helped make Sooty a more confident pony, I can’t thank you enough. Sarah Baldwin
“We are both doing absolutely brill, I am so happy and pleased with the outcome of his and mine training clinics with Jason. I feel so confident and it shows because Danny is doing amazingly well. I have been highly recommending you to everyone I know and meet”Fiona Hobbs
Helen and Mickey – We had a great time today Jason. Learnt loads and as usual all very well organised. And the usual brilliant lunch! Looking forward to more courses soon! Keep them coming!
Stacey Ward with Darcy – Thank you to Jason and his wonderful staff for organising a fantastic young horse Day was very educational and rewarding. Lovely rosettes to take home too which was an unexpected bonus. Was very nice to see so many young and settled horses too!
Helen Rennardson and Bertie – Thanks so much for today guys, Bertie and I had so much fun after we settled down!
Emma Dawson and Oscar – What a fantastic day! Everyone did brilliantly. Couldn’t be more pleased with Oscar, he was a superstar. My rosettes are proudly on display! Thanks for a really great day!
I first used Jason on one or two of the trickier horses on the yard – for breaking in and for behavioural issues. I was really impressed with the way he handles them and the results that he got in a short period of time. We are now using him to break in all our youngsters from our breeding programme for what I believe will be the best start to their ridden career.Emily Baldwin, 4* Event Rider
Thank you Jason for a great day. Dylan (the “big boy”) and myself had a fantastic time on the Liberty Course today, and brought away some new exercises to practice. Good weather, a lovely mix of like-minded participants and their horses added to the whole experience. Hope you can develop a Liberty 2 Course !!Sally Tobin
Dear Jason, On behalf of the Rother Valley Riding Club I would like to thank you so much for coming along to our AGM and sitting through all the boring bits before you ‘took the floor’. You may not realise it but you got more audience participation than any of our other speakers!
I’m thinking it may be the beginning of a great relationship with the R.V.R.C. I know you know many of our members already but think your fan-base has just increased! The reaction when you suggested a polocrosse day said it all!Sue Clark
I’m really, really happy with the two horses I’ve sent to Australian Horsemanship. One of the horses came home such as different horse – everything had been covered from loading, ground handling etc, he was able to go straight out competing! The second horse I sent came on really well and I sent her back for a month when I had an operation and she feels great now. Thank you very much, I can now take her out and have some fun this summer!Rebecca Osborne
